Sedgwick Bridle Leather Dog Lead

Let's face it every dog needs a lead so why not have one that is hand made in the uk and looks great. Whether you prefer a more classic look or you fancy a touch of extra style by adding the bleed knot we have something for all occasions. Available in 2ft, 3ft and 4ft lengths.

These leads are made with a brass eye in the handle so the lead can be worn around your neck, across your torso or even round your waist when not in use. The trigger hook is quality solid brass and should manage to hold even the most unruly hound.

Made from the same 3.5 - 4.5mm Sedgwick bridle leather used for equine bridle work, if looked after your lead should stand the test of time. With use it will become beautifully supple and gain character. The 19mm wide size suits most dogs, while for smaller or more finely built dogs the 16mm wide may be best. 

Please be aware these leads are made to order and as a result there is a 14 day lead time. This may increase during busy periods.

Caring for your lead: if with use your lead begins to feel a little dry we recommend treating it with a leather care balm or oil, particularly if it often gets wet and muddy.
